- Develop/execute automation test scripts.
- Create function and procedure routines.
- Perform test data analysis including finding, modifying,
and creating test data.
- Review system/business requirements and technical specifications
for adherence to standards.
- Review test results for compliance to specifications and
report discrepancies to management.
- Work with developers to resolve defects.
- Perform client interviews on technical, procedural, and
business topics.
- Work closely with the internal sales force to provide
assistance in responding to RFPs, client discovery sessions,
and sales presentations regarding test automation.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement automation testing
tools and methodologies.
- Education:
o B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems,
or equivalent work experience.
Specific Skills:
o Expert in the strategic and tactical execution of automation
testing processes utilizing various tools, chiefly WinRunner
and QuickTest Professional from Mercury Interactive
o Ability to consider problems from various points of view
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Strong analytical skills
